Arriving at school on time is important; please see school start times below!

Kindergarten - Grade 6:         8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Grades 7-8:                                     8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.

Students arriving at school between 7:45-7:55 will be permitted to enter the building and go to the cafeteria before going to their classrooms at 7:55.

Salemwood will host our annual Popsicles on the Plaza meet and greet event on August 14 from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. At this event, students will be able to pick up their teacher assignments as well as meet the admin team and some teachers. For anyone unable to attend the event, teacher assignments can be viewed after the event on Aspen.

Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for August 28th at 9:00 a.m. in the K-4 cafeteria for Kindergarten students and their families. This will be an opportunity to meet teachers, sign-up for a screening appointment, and learn more about what to expect for the year beyond. 

Students will be provided with supply lists on their first day of school.

Every student in Malden Public Schools is provided with a free breakfast and lunch on full school days - no paperwork needed. Breakfast is provided to students as they walk into the building or directly in their classroom. Each moth, you may view the breakfast and lunch menus for our schools at the link below. Be sure to bookmark the page and check at the start of each monthe to view the new menu.

Check Caregiver Portal Access

The Aspen Caregiver Portal is how Malden provides family access to student performance information, report cards, and progress reports. Be sure you can access your account by following directions here. If you cannot access your account, be sure to contact your school.

The Malden Public Schools District's MOST program offers before and after school sessions for the 2025-2026 school year.

Before-school programming starts at 7:00 a.m. each day, allowing families to drop children off before school starts. The MOST Before-School Program operates at all K-8 schools for students in grades Kindergarten - 6.

After-school programming is available until 5:30 p.m. each day with rolling pick-ups starting at 4:30. The MOST After-School Program operates at Beebe, Forestdale, Linden, and Salemwood for students in grades Kindergarten - 6. View more information about the MOST program.
